¡Hola! ¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to my site. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a Spanish Middle School teacher. This is my 14th year teaching and my 11th year teaching 7th and 8th graders. Middle School is my favorite grade to teach. I've taught high school and I also teach as an adjunct at a University. I have a BA in Spanish from Montclair University, a Master of Arts in Teaching Spanish from Rutgers University, and a Masters in Education Leadership with Principal/Supervisor Certification from Montclair State University.

I am enthusiastically diving into comprehensible input and am passionately creating resources that are fun, engaging and relevant for the middle school Spanish classroom. I love making connections and developing a love of learning languages with my 7th and 8th graders. I am lucky to be in a department of 1 and get to see them grow in their proficiency and want to continue their language learning.
 

When I am not teaching, blogging, and creating resources, I enjoy spending time with my family, I have four grown children. I love hiking, cooking, and reading. I am a momma to 3 fur babies, Lucy, a fun-loving Chocolate Lab, and my two cats, Ricky and Captain Jack.  

 

I know  I am not reinventing the wheel here, but m goal is to share my continuing journey with my fellow teachers and hopefully, help them pick up a little from here that will help their students as well.
